At Immanuel, our goal is to help our youth discover their life in Christ and to develop a genuine passion for living out their faith.

Our Immanuel Youth Ministry team strives to lead youth to become disciples of Jesus Christ through foundations of faith  that will empower them to continue living for Christ as they move onto the next stage of life. We also believe strongly in partnering with families and parents in order to reach our youth.

Annual Theme: "Discipleship"

FOLLOW JESUS

This year at Immanuel Youth, our theme is “Discipleship.” Over the past year, God has blessed our church through a season of invitation and evangelism, bringing new people into the life of the church. Now, we are focusing on the next step: helping youth become mature followers of Jesus who live out their faith every day.

Jesus does not simply invite us to believe in Him. He calls us to follow Him.

“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”

—Luke 9:23 (NIV)

Discipleship is not about having everything figured out. It is the daily decision to trust Jesus, learn His ways, and follow where He leads.

GROWING TOGETHER

Following Jesus is more than attending church or knowing the right answers. It means allowing Him to shape our relationships, habits, priorities, decisions, and future.

This year, we will create opportunities for youth to study Scripture, practice spiritual disciplines, ask honest questions, serve others, and grow through meaningful Christian community.

We were never meant to follow Jesus alone. We need people who will encourage us, challenge us, pray for us, and walk beside us as we grow.

A Way of Life

Discipleship is not just a theme. It is a way of life.

We are choosing growth over comfort.

Obedience over convenience.

Faithfulness over distraction.

Every day is another opportunity to take the next step with Jesus.

Follow Jesus. Become like Jesus. Help others follow Jesus.

Our Immanuel Youth Ministries team strives to create a safe environment where middle school and high school students learn to become disciples of Jesus Christ by understanding how their story fits into the Gospel story. Through energetic worship, biblical teaching, exciting games, and small groups, we seek to lead students to experience WONDER for who God is, DISCOVERY of a new life in Jesus, and PASSION for reaching others.

Midweek Fellowship

Wednesday Nights | Central Campus | 6:30 - 7:30

The purpose of our Wednesday Night Fellowship is to provide our youth with a safe and loving environment where they can take time to catch up with friends and leaders in a Christian environment.  Youth and leaders will hang out in the Youth Lounge where there will be games, quiet time, snacks, and a Bible Study.

Our current study is on The Sermon on the Mount.

Sunday Mornings

Youth Lounge | 10:00

Curriculum: Explore the Bible from Lifeway

We believe that Discipleship is more than just showing up and knowing the right answers. Discipleship is about becoming more like Jesus, both individually and in community. Our Sunday Morning Bible Studies are designed to help students ENCOUNTER and UNDERSTAND foundational theological truths, to CHALLENGE students to live out their faith, and to lead students to APPLY Biblical truths to live more like Jesus everyday.

Volunteer Application

  • Youth Ministries - Small Group Leader

Small Group Leaders facilitate various groups with students, helping them Discover who God has created them to be.

Small Group leaders participate in Youth Group on Sunday nights by forming relationships with students and leading their small group time. This opportunity requires a high commitment level with regards to time and energy.

  • Youth Ministries - Sunday Morning Bible Study Leader

Bible Study Leaders help our students experience Wonder for who God is, which is the first step in developing a life dedicated to the Lord.

Youth Sunday Morning Bible Study, otherwise known as “Sunday School,” is our opportunity to go deeper into Scripture with our students. We are currently offering one opportunity at 10:00 AM and serves both high school and middle school.

  • Youth Ministries - Event Support Team

Every event requires the dedication of a team of caring adults. Help us create safe and engaging retreat and event environments to activate the Passion of our students.

We are continually planning retreats and conferences for our students. We are looking for individuals with planning abilities to help prepare before events. We are also continually looking for adults who have a heart for serving students to come on events, help with transportation or logistical tasks, and disciple students.

  • Youth Ministries - Bread of Life Meal Ministry

Do you have a passion for Food? If you enjoy watching students devour your culinary creations, then the Bread of Life Meal Ministry is the right place for you to serve.

As often as we can, we like to provide our students with meals at youth group and “hangouts.”  This is especially important at special events and retreats!  Those volunteering for this team will be cooking/preparing food and serving that food to our students!
